Create a scene matrix covering time, place, characters present, each character’s knowledge, goals and changes in circumstances. Support each row with a brief reference to the text. 2. Look for inconsistencies in time, objects, character knowledge and motivation. Distinguish proven contradictions from missing explanations and deliberate ambiguity. 3. For each proven problem, suggest the smallest correction and an alternative dramatic solution. Identify consequences for later scenes. 4. Wait for my choice before rewriting the affected passages. Then check the changes against the scene matrix and the elements that must stay unchanged. Do not invent scenes as evidence or remove ambiguity without asking.
