A letter from your 80-year-old self
Five questions, then a personal letter from an imagined future perspective.
Published: · Version 1
A prompt to try
Ask five questions, one at a time, waiting for each answer: What am I proud of? What am I postponing? What do I miss? Who or what do I want to make time for? What small change would I like? I may skip any question. Then write a letter from my imaginary 80-year-old self to me today, at most 300 words. Use details I actually gave you, a warm tone and no clichés. Label it a thought experiment, not a prediction. Do not invent a biography, illnesses, losses or inevitable future regret. End with one small thing I could choose to try this week. Start with the first question.
Copy the text into your AI, fill in the placeholders and check the answer.
