A prompt to try
Help me really understand this topic: [TOPIC OR SHORT TEXT]. What I already know: [PRIOR KNOWLEDGE] Where I need it in everyday life: [SITUATION] Time: [MINUTES] Ask up to three questions about my goal. Then explain only the most important ideas in plain language using an example from my situation. Explain necessary technical terms immediately and mark simplifications. Do not invent facts where the text leaves things open. Give me a small task to apply what I have learned. Do not show a solution yet; wait for my answer. Then tell me specifically what is correct and, if I make a mistake, give a hint before the full solution. Let me try again. Finally, give me a new, similar task without help. Afterwards, summarize what my answers show and what I can still practice. Do not infer successful learning simply because an explanation felt easy to understand.
