A prompt to try
My child is about [AGE] and asks: [QUESTION]. 1. Give an age-appropriate answer in at most four sentences with an everyday comparison. Explain where it simplifies. 2. Suggest an optional observation or safe mini-experiment taking at most ten minutes. Use harmless household materials with adult supervision. No flames, heat, electricity, chemical mixtures, sharp objects, pressure containers, choking risks or tasting. If this is not feasible, use observation alone. Explain what it demonstrates and what it does not. 3. Suggest one possible follow-up question and a short answer. 4. Give me, the adult, a more precise three-sentence explanation. Do not invent facts. For sensitive subjects such as grief, skip the experiment and use gentle, honest language without false reassurance.
