What your last five decisions have in common
Compare five real decisions and develop a tentative rule for the next one.
Published: · Version 1
A prompt to try
I will describe five decisions from recent years. For each: situation, options, time spent deciding, decisive reason and how I see it now. My examples: [FIVE DECISIONS]. Compare them in a short table. Which recurring triggers or approaches are actually supported? What differed in decisions I now feel good about? Include a counterexample and acknowledge hindsight bias. Do not infer a cause or fixed personality from five cases. Suggest a tentative rule for the next similar decision and one situation where it would not fit. Label guesses and missing information.

Why try this?
