What is a prompt?
A prompt is your instruction to an AI: a question, request or task. You explain what you want help with. For example: “Help me put these three tasks in order for tomorrow. First ask which deadlines are fixed.”
Do I need to code or speak English?
No. Ordinary sentences are enough for an AI chat. You can use the templates in German or English and explicitly ask for an answer in your language. Clear context is more useful than technical terminology.
What is a useful first experiment?
Pick a small, real task: write a friendly refusal, understand a difficult topic or make a realistic weekly plan. The more easily you can judge the result yourself, the more you will learn from trying it.
Is RobinPrompt itself an AI?
No. RobinPrompt is a library of prompt templates and guides. The answer is produced in the AI chat where you paste the prompt, such as ChatGPT or Claude. RobinPrompt does not run the task automatically.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
You can read and copy prompts on RobinPrompt for free without creating an account. Your chosen AI tool has its own access requirements, plans and usage limits. Check these with its provider; a RobinPrompt template does not unlock paid features.
How do I get the prompt into ChatGPT or Claude?
Copy the prompt and open your chosen AI chat. Check the input field: if the text is missing, paste it yourself. On a phone, touch and hold the field and choose Paste; on a computer, use Ctrl+V or ⌘V. Add your details and then send it.
What do the square brackets in a prompt mean?
They mark places for your own details. For example, replace [time per week] with “two hours”. Remove instructions that do not apply to you. If you do not know a detail yet, tell the AI rather than making something up.
Why is the answer generic or not useful?
Important context may be missing. Add your goal, experience, a constraint or an example. Explain what does not fit: “That takes too much effort. I only have ten minutes.” You can ask questions and improve the answer one step at a time.
Can I trust an AI response?
A fluent answer can still be wrong. Check numbers, dates, claims and sources before relying on them. For important health, legal or financial questions, an AI chat does not replace appropriate professional advice.
Does the AI already know everything about me?
No. It only has information the particular tool can actually access, such as your current conversation and enabled features. Ask it to clarify gaps and label assumptions. RobinPrompt cannot see your personal answers in an external AI chat.
Which personal details should I leave out?
Share only what the task needs. Leave out passwords, access codes and unnecessary confidential information. Replace names and contact details with placeholders. Before uploading files, check their contents and your AI provider’s privacy settings.
Will a prompt automatically read my email or run every morning?
No. Your AI tool needs to support the required connections and, if needed, a scheduling feature, which you set up separately. Without a connection, you can provide selected information yourself. Check permissions and test the result before relying on a recurring workflow.
When should I rate or comment on a prompt?
After you have tried it yourself. Describe what it helped with or what was missing. A rating reflects your experience, not a universal quality guarantee. Comments become public after review; personal answers and contact details do not belong there.
